Filters

A dirty filter will restrict the airflow through your system, causing it to have to work harder to maintain your temperature settings. A very dirty filter can even cause your system to shut down completely. It's very important to change your filters regulary. Doing so will prolong the life of your equipment, and keep you more comfortable along the way! We suggest you change your filter as follows:

1" Filters Monthly
4" Filters Quarterly

These are only guidelines of course and will vary depending on several factors.
If you have pets, smokers, allergy sufferers or if you have high traffic in your home, you may need to change your filter more often. If you have none of these things, you may be able to change your filter less often. The best way to determine your needs is to check your filter frequently until you have a good idea of usage.
We stock many different types and sizes of filters, available for you to purchase.
If we don't have what you need on hand, we will gladly order it for you.

KENERGY REBATES
Dual-Fuel Heat Pump Program Guidelines

Replacement Dual-Fuel System must be used in conjunction with natural gas or propane furnace. The Heat Pump replaces existing A/C unit.
New Home Dual-Fuel System must use Natural Gas ONLY as backup.
Must be 13 SEER or higher as rated by Air-Conditioning Refrigeration Institute
$90 per ton REBATE

Water Heater Conversion Program Guidelines

Replaces existing natural gas or propane water heater
40 gallon minimum size
.90 energy factor or higher
$300 REBATE

NOTE: If an incentive is approved for a New Home Dual-Fuel System and the customer also installs an electric water heater(s) with an Energy Factor of .90 or higher and a size of 40 gallon minimum, you would also qualify for a $300 incentive per water heater.
